The 2022–23 Toronto Maple Leafs season was the franchise's 106th season in the National Hockey League. On March 27, 2023, the Maple Leafs clinched a playoff spot after the Ottawa Senators defeated the Florida Panthers.[2] On April 29, the Maple Leafs won their First Round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, which was the first playoff series win for the franchise since 2004.[3] In the Second Round, the Maple Leafs lost to the Florida Panthers in five games.[4]
