The 2024 Valorant Champions will be the fourth edition of the Valorant Champions, the world championship esports tournament organized by Riot Games for the first-person shooter game Valorant. The tournament will run from August 1–25, 2024.[1]
The home of VCT Pacific, Seoul, along with Incheon, South Korea will be hosting the crowning event of Valorant Champions Tour's 2024 competitive season in which the sixteen best Valorant teams in the world will compete to become the season's world champions.[2]
Evil Geniuses are the defending champions, but failed to qualify after missing the Americas Playoffs and not having enough championship points.
On February 17, 2024, Riot Games announced that Seoul will play host to the Valorant Champions, the crowning event of the VCT 2024 season.[3][4]
Sixteen teams qualified for the global crowning event of the circuit, with teams either qualifying through their respective league after Stage 2 or through Championship Points.

The group stage will take place preceding the playoffs. All 16 teams were divided into 4 groups of four teams each playing in a GSL-style double-elimination format. Games will be held in a best-of-three series. The top 2 teams in each group will qualify for the playoffs.[5]
Sixteen teams were drawn into four groups of four teams each. Teams from the same region cannot be placed in the same group. If a team is drawn into the same group as another team from their region, they will be placed in the next valid group. Matchups were based on the seedings of each team, which were in turn determined by their performances in the playoffs of their respective regions. Teams that qualified via championship points were automatically placed as the fourth seed. First seed teams (Stage 2 champions of their respective regions) will initially face fourth seed teams, and second and third seed teams will play each other.
The groups and initial matchups were determined by the draw on July 21. Teams with map pick/ban choice (i.e., the higher-seeded team or upper-bracket team) are marked by an asterisk.[6]
