The A1orEX-A1 is a 123-kilometre-long (76 mi) motorwayinExtremadura, connecting Navalmoral de la Mata and Moraleja. As of 2012[update], plans to extend the motorway to the Portuguese border at Termas de Montfortinho are on hold.
