The Abingdon Learning Trust (ALT[1]) is a multi-academy trust, exempt charity and company limited by guarantee, based in Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, England.[2] Three schools in Abingdon are part of the trust, two secondary schools: John Mason School and Fitzharrys School, and one primary school, Rush Common School.[3][4][5]

    History[edit]

Formed in Abingdon in 2012 as the Rush Common Academy Trust,[6] it was announced in 2016 that the three schools planned to join as the ALT,[7] and the company officially changed their name.[8]

As of May 2024, the Abingdon Learning Trust has five members and thirteen trustees (including one associate trustee).[9] The Trust's CEO is Fiona Hammans.[10] Zoe Bratt was named the CFO of the Trust on 1 March 2012.[11] Bratt is also the Trust's COO.[12] The chair of the Trust's members is Jacqui Canton.[9]
