Alex Baker is a British Labour Party politician who has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Aldershot since 2024. She was first elected at the 2024 general election, defeating Leo Docherty of the Conservative Party.[1] This was the first time since the creation of the constituency in 1918 that it had elected a non-Conservative MP.[2]

She began her career working for Co-operative Party, and went on to work for the Co-operative Group, before a job at the Battersea Power Station regeneration project.[3]
