Amir Eid (Arabic: امیر عید; born November 26, 1983) is a prominent Egyptian singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Cairokee. Born on November 26, 1983, in Cairo, Egypt, Eid has made significant contributions to the music scene since the early 2000s and is considered by many a revolutionist in the domain of Egyptian music. He founded the Egyptian rock band Cairokee in 2003. Amir's career took a turn around 2011, due to the release of many influential and political songs, by Cairokee, that inspired the Egyptian people during the egyptian revolution. These songs include but are not limited to: Sout el Horeya and ya el midan. He is also known for his support for the palestinan cause, which only increased his popularity among his fans, especially with his hit song "Telk Qadeya".

Amir Eid was born in Cairo, Egypt. He founded the Egyptian rock band Cairokee in 2003.[1]

Telk Qadeya[edit]

On 30 November 2023,[2] Eid dropped a new single Telk Qadeya (This Cause) standing in solidarity with Palestine. Telk Qadeya criticized the United States for not doing enough.[3] This song has had over a million views on YouTube.[4]
