Aujas Cybersecurity – An NSEIT Company, formerly known as Aujas Networks Private Limited, is a global cybersecurity company with a presence in the United States, South Asia, and the Middle East.[1] Aujas offers IRM services that span strategy and advisory, control integration & sustenance, and optimization. The Aujas service portfolio includes services like Identity and Access Management (IAM), Risk Advisory, Security Verification, Security Engineering, Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Cloud Security Services.

Aujas was founded in 2008 by M Srinivas Rao.[2] The company was incubated by IDG Ventures as part of its Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program and had also received seed funding from IDG. Aujas has offices in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and GurugraminIndia; Dallas, New Jersey, and Cupertino in the US; Ottawa in Canada; Sharjah, UAE and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Background[edit]

Prior to setting up Aujas, Rao was a director at Cisco.[3] In the past, he had worked at companies like Network Solutions, Microland, and Sonata Software. He is currently an independent director at 24x7 Learning Pvt Ltd.

Shelke was Director (service development & solutions) at Fidelity Investments and worked at Cisco, HP, and Microland.[4]

The other co-founder Kotian was the Country Business Manager at IBM Global Services prior to co-founding Aujas and has also served as the Business Manager at Network Solutions India.

Funding[edit]

The company raised an undisclosed round of funding from a consortium of venture capital investors led by Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund, IvyCap Ventures, and IDG Ventures India.[5] Proceeds from the Series B round of funding were used by the company to invest in technology, as well as strengthen its presence in North America, South Asia, and the Middle East.[6] In 2008, Aujas received funding of $3 million from IDG Ventures India.[7][8]

Acquisition[edit]

In 2019, NSEIT Limited - a digital native global technology company and a 100% subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India, acquired Aujas Cybersecurity.
