Bakeshluchay Rural District (Persian: دهستان بکشلوچای)[3] is in the Central DistrictofUrmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Emamzadeh.[5] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Kashtiban.[6]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 22,672 in 6,208 households.[7] There were 28,864 inhabitants in 7,466 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 34,683 in 8,890 households. The most populous of its 60 villages was Reyhanabad, with 10,536 people.[2]
