Bara 1 is one of four parliamentary constituencies of Bara DistrictinNepal. This constituency came into existence on the Constituency Delimitation Commission (CDC) report submitted on 31 August 2017.[1]

Bara 1 incorporates Simraungadh Municipality, Adarshkotwal Rural Municipality, Baragadhi Rural Municipality, Nijgadh Municipality and wards 1–7 and 9–11 of Kolhabi Municipality.
