Baranów [baˈranuf] is a villageinKępno County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Baranów.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Kępno and 147 km (91 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.
Baranów was a private town, administratively located in the Ostrzeszów County in the Sieradz Voivodeship in the Greater Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.[2]
