Binji is a Local Government AreainSokoto State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Binji. It was originally established by the sons of the military commander Ali Jedo as a Ribat.[1]

It has an area of 559 km2 and a population of 105,027 at the 2006 census.[2] The postal code of the area is 853.[3]

Climate

The average annual temperature is 63°F; the wet season is humid, oppressive, and generally cloudy; and the dry season is hot, muggy, and partially cloudy.[4][5]

Throughout the month, Binji experiences a range of temperatures, the most prevalent being hot days and cool nights.[6]
