Buszyce [buˈʂɨt͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lewin Brzeski, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Lewin Brzeski, 16 km (10 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 24 km (15 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
In the final stages of World War II, a German-organized death marchofAllied prisoners of war from the Stalag Luft 7 POW camp passed through the village on 21 January 1945.[2]
