Preparation[edit]

Caesium zirconate can be prepared from the reaction of CsOH with zirconia at high temperature:[3]

2 CsOH + ZrO2 → Cs2ZrO3 + H2O

Physical properties[edit]

Caesium zirconate forms a white powder.
