Chakraborty (other spelling variations include Chakraborti, Chakrabarti, Chakrabarty and Chakravarty) is a surname of Bengali Hindus and Assamese HindusofIndia and Bangladesh,[1] the surname is used by people of the Bengali Brahmin[2][3][4] and Assamese Brahmin[5][6] communities in States of West Bengal,Tripura and Assam.
