Pakistani TV series or programme
"Chand Tara romantic comedy Pakistani television series, starring Danish Taimoor and Ayeza Khan in the lead roles. Written by Saima Akram Chaudhry , directed by Danish Nawaz , and produced by MD Productions , the series began airing from 23 March 2023 during Ramadan on Hum TV , and ended on 21 April 2023 after 30 episodes.
The series failed to achieve the level of popularity compared to Chaudhry's previous Ramadan scripts.[3] [4]
Premise [ edit ]
The plot centers around Chand (played by Danish Taimoor), a software engineer who resides in a joint family and desires to live independently, and Tara (played by Ayeza Khan), a gynecologist who was raised alone and longs to be part of a joint family. As their love story unfolds, various situations arise among them and their families, illustrating the chaos of living in a joint family system.[5] [6] [7]

Danish Taimoor as Sarim "Chand", he works as a part-time freelancer
Saba Faisal as Dr. Raazia, Tara's mother who owns a hospitaland lives prefers living separately instead of being with her husband's joint family
Behroze Sabzwari as Mir Jaffer, Tara's father who works at an insurance company
Rehan Sheikh as Gulzar "Babu Bhaiyya", Chand's father who is the CEO of Babu Wedding Bells and looks after the decoration section in the business
Danish Nawaz as Mateen "Manchu", Gulzar's youngest brother who looks after the music section in the business
Madiha Iftikhar as Mehnaz "Naaz", Manchu's wife who is a beautician
Adnan Jaffar as Saleem, Gulzar's younger brother and Hashir's father who shares in business as a caterer and loves exercising
Ghazal Siddiqui as Safeera "Saffo", Hashir's mother who is expecting another child

On 13 December 2022, Saima Akram Chaudhry announced the title of her new series;[8] Momina Duraid ,[9] [1]
Soon, it was announced that the celebrity couple Danish Taimoor and Ayeza Khan will star in the next Ramadan play.[10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17]
Cinematography is done by Tameen Nizami. The background score for the series has been given by Wajid Saeed, while the soundtrack of features two songs.[a] [18]
