Take this time not only to celebrate but to learn about the history of pride and also acknowledge the many folks before us who fought so hard, many of them being BIPOC, for our right to celebrate. I am forever grateful for their sacrifices because without them I would not be able to live openly and freely as a gay femme.⁣ ⁣ I consider celebrating pride to be such a privilege as many folks are still not able to. Let's keep them in our thoughts as well ❤️⁣ ⁣ Pride is a wonderful thing to celebrate but let's not forget how we earned our right to celebrate!⁣ ⁣ Have fun, stay safe and keep six feet apart!!!". instagram.com.
