Christiansburg is an unincorporated communityinVan Buren Township, Brown County, in the U.S. stateofIndiana.[1]
Christiansburg was founded about 1850.[3] It may have been named for Col. William Christian.[4] The Christiansburg post office was discontinued in 1902.[5]
...where it sometimes honors Colonel William Christian, who was killed by Indians in Kentucky in 1796.
