Colorado Acres is a census-designated placeinWebb County, Texas, United States. The population was 296 at the 2010 census.[2] This was a new CDP, formed from parts of the Ranchitos Las Lomas CDP prior to the 2010 census.[3]

It is one of several colonias in the county.[4]

Geography[edit]

Colorado Acres is located at 27°38′42N 99°12′51W / 27.64500°N 99.21417°W / 27.64500; -99.21417 (27.644901, -99.214301) along U.S. Highway 59 in east-central Webb County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.93 square miles (7.6 km2), all land.[2]

Education[edit]

Residents are in the United Independent School District.[5] Zoned schools include: Dr. Henry Cuellar Elementary School,[6] Antonio Gonzalez Middle School,[7] and United South High School.[8]

The designated community college for Webb County is Laredo Community College.[9]
