Sulligent High School is in Sulligent, Alabama and serves students in Lamar County, Alabama. It is part of the Lamar County School District. It is a small school in northwestern Alabama.[2][3]
The student body is predominantly white.[4]
The Sulligent School building burnt in 1908.[5] The cornerstone for the new Sulligent High School was laid in 1909.[6] In 1930, a new building for the high school was built. It burned, in 1978.[5]
Blue Devils are the school mascot. The school colors are blue and white.[7] The school has never won a state football championship. It is 0-1 in the finals.[8] Sulligent High School is in Division 2A.[9]
The girls basketball team won state championships.[10][11]
