England lifting the trophy in 2022.

The England national cricket team is one of the full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC). They are the joint most successful team along with West Indies, having appeared in every edition of the tournament they have won the title twice in 2010 and 2022.[1][2] While they had been the runners-up in 2016, they had also reached the semifinals of the tournament in 2021. In eight editions, the team has a win-loss record of 25-19 wins in 45 matches.
