Location of Levice District in the Nitra Region
Farná (Hungarian: Farnad) is a village and municipality in the Levice District in the Nitra RegionofSlovakia.
History[edit]
Inhistorical records the village was first mentioned in 1156.[citation needed]
Geography[edit]
The village lies at an altitude of 159 metres and covers an area of 32.745 km2. It has a population of about 1,440 people.
Ethnicity[edit]
The village is approximately 77% Magyar and 23% Slovak.
Facilities[edit]
The village has a public libraryagym and a football pitch.
