English: Chest tomb with effigy in Brushford Church, Somerset, of Colonel The Honourable Aubrey Nigel Henry Molyneux Herbert DL (3 April 1880 – 26 September 1923), of Pixton Park in Somerset. Herbert Chapel, on the north side of the chancel, viewed from south. The effigy and slab is made of hollow cast metal, with a stone effect finish of a white colour, the base is stone, of a cream colour. Above are six escutcheons of the Herbert arms, quartered and impaled, representing the Herbert family's ancestry. The arms of the Acland family, from whom by marriage the Herberts inherited Pixton, are visible. The arms of Dyke are visible quartered by Acland, on an inescutcheon, from whom the Aclands inherited Pixton. Herbert's sword hangs on the wall above his head. On the far side of the stone slab is inscribed in Latin: Lumen familiae suae ("the light of his family"). The left-most shield displays Herbert of 6 quarters:
Over-all is an inescutcheon of Vesey, for his wife Hon. Mary Gertrude Vesey, only child and sole heiress of John Vesey, 4th Viscount de Vesci (1844–1903), eldest son and heir of Thomas Vesey, 3rd Viscount de Vesci (d.1875) by his wife Lady Emma Herbert (1819-1884) youngest daughter of George Herbert, 11th Earl of Pembroke.
