Dutch–Finnish relations are foreign relations between the Netherlands and Finland. The Netherlands recognised Finland's independence on 28 January 1918. Diplomatic relations between them were established on 14 August 1918.[1] The Netherlands has an embassy in Helsinki[2] and consulates (inKuopio, Mariehamn, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa).[3] Finland has an embassy in the Hague,[4] an honorary consulate general in Amsterdam[5] and other honorary consulates in Rotterdam[6] and Terneuzen.[7] Both countries are full members of the Council of Europe, the European Union and NATO. The Netherlands supported Finland's NATO membership during Finland's accession into NATO, which was finalized on 4 April 2023. [8][9][10]

While the Netherlands was one of the founding members of the EU, Finland joined the EUin1995.

Finland also has an 1 honorary consulate general in Amsterdam and an 2 honorary consulates in Rotterdam and Terneuzen. the Netherlands also has an honorary consulates in Kuopio, Mariehamn, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Tampere, Turku and Vaasa.
