Forallac is a village and municipality in the provinceofGirona and autonomous communityofCatalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 49.97 square kilometres (19.29 sq mi) and the population in 2014 was 1,729.[2] It includes the village of Peratallada.
The name Forallac itself is a portmanteau of the former municipalities of Fonteta [ca], Peratallada and Vulpellac [ca] which merged in 1977.
The municipality is composed of eight distinct settlements:
