Gümmenen railway station (German: Bahnhof Gümmenen) is a railway station in the municipality of Ferenbalm, in the Swiss cantonofBern. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Bern–Neuchâtel lineofBLS AG. Gümmenen was formerly the northern terminus of the standard gauge Flamatt–Laupen–Gümmenen linetoFlamatt, but service beyond Laupen ended in 1993.^[5][1]

As of the December 2023 timetable change,^[update] the following services stop at Gümmenen:^[6][7]

• Bern S-Bahn:
  • S5: hourly service between Bern and NeuchâtelorMurten/Morat; rush-hour trains continue from Murten/Morat to Payerne.
  • S52: hourly service between Kerzers and Bern; off-peak trains directly continue from Kerzers to Lyss as S35 and vice-versa; evening trains continue from Kerzers to Ins.
• InterRegio:
  • : morning rush-hour service on weekdays to Bern.
