Holywell is a former civil parishinOxford, in the county of Oxfordshire, England. The toponym is derived from the wellofSaint Winifred and Saint Margaret.^[1] In 1921 the parish had a population of 846.^[2] On 1 April 1926 the parish was abolished to form Oxford.^[3]
