In the 1997 World Women's Handball Championship she helped the Macedonian women's handball team to reach 7th place by scoring 71 goals[2] the most at that years championship. She played for Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje almost her entire career and was one of their best players. She reached the final at two occasions and won the champions league with Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje in 2002 scoring 10 goals in the final game.

(Indira Kastratović was the top scorer of the World Cup in Germany in 1997 (Macedonia finished in 7th place out of 24, after losing in the quarterfinals against the host) with 71 goals, but interestingly was not selected to the best lineup in the championship)
