James Mark Beckman (born October 19, 1962) is an American priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed as bishop for the Diocese of Knoxville in 2024.

Biography[edit]

On July 13, 1990, Beckman was ordained to the priesthood.

Episcopal career[edit]

Pope Francis appointed Beckman bishop for the Diocese of Knoxville on May 7, 2024.[1][2][3] On July 26, 2024, Beckman is scheduled to be consecrated as a bishop.
