KDB Mustaed (21) is the only ship of its kind in the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN; Malay: Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, TLDB).[1] The vessel, a fast interceptor boat, is in active service in the Royal Brunei Navy.

Construction and career[edit]

KDB Mustaed was built by Marinteknik Shipyard[2]inTuas, Singapore to a Lürssen FIB 25-012 design,[3] and commissioned on 25 November 2011; 12 years ago (2011-11-25).[4] She is capable of border patrol, surveillance, fishery protection, and high speed interception,[5] and carries a 4 metres (13 feet 1 inch) rigid inflatable boat (RIB).[3]
