Kaminoge Station (上野毛駅, Kaminoge-eki) is a railway station on the Tokyu Oimachi LineinSetagaya, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Tokyu Corporation.

Lines[edit]

Kaminoge Station is served by the 10.4 kmTokyu Oimachi Line from OimachitoFutako-tamagawa, and is located 9.2 km from the starting point of the line at Oimachi.[1] It is numbered "OM14".

Station layout[edit]

The station has a single island platform below the surrounding ground level, serving two tracks, with an additional outer track to allow non-stop express trains to pass in the "up" (Oimachi) direction.[2]

History[edit]

The station opened on 1 November 1929.[1]

Kaminoge station was rebuilt, with building work completed in March 2011.[3] The new station building was designed by the architect Tadao Ando.[4]

Passenger statistics[edit]

In fiscal 2011, the station was used by an average of 20,830 passengers daily.[1]
