The Karachi Monarchs are a professional baseball club from Karachi, Pakistan. Founded in 2023 as a member of Baseball United, the Karachi Monarchs are the first professional baseball team in Pakistan's history.[1]

Roster[edit]

The Monarchs selected 20 players during the 2023 Baseball United Draft,[2] some of whom previously played in Major League Baseball. The selection of 50 year old 4x All-Star and 2005 AL Cy Young Award winner Bartolo Colón in the 2nd round generated significant media attention.[3][4]
