Kolapakkam is a suburban area situated in the southwestern part of Chennai, within the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu, India.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] It is located at an altitude of about 42 m above the mean sea level with the geographical coordinates of 13°00′36N 80°08′57E / 13.0101°N 80.1492°E / 13.0101; 80.1492[8] and is 20 kilometers from the city center. Kolapakkam is known for its blend of residential neighborhoods and commercial establishments, rapidly developing into a prominent locality within the Chennai metropolitan area. Its strategic location near the Chennai Bypass and Outer Ring Road enhances its connectivity, making it easily accessible from various parts of the city.
