Les Monts d'Andaine (French pronunciation: [le mɔ̃ dɑ̃dɛn]) is a commune in the departmentofOrne, northwestern France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger of the former communes of Saint-Maurice-du-Désert and La Sauvagère (the seat).[3]
The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Serrière, L'Hermangère, Le Domaine, Le Mont Oiselet, La Bêlère, Les Landes and Les Monts-d'Andaine.[4]
It is 3,810 hectares (14.7 sq mi) in size. The highest point in the commune is 256 metres (840 ft).
The commune is within the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park.[5]
The commune has five watercourses flowing through its borders, la Vee river, The Andainette river, the Rouvrette river, la Petitiere stream and The Laurenciere stream.
