  • Line 13 of the Shenzhen Metro is one of the four new metro lines of the metro's Phase IV expansion under construction in the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong.[4][5] The Phase 1 South section between Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint and Hi-Tech Central or Shenzhen University is expected to open on 28 October 2024,[2][3] with the rest of Phase 1 and the northern extension expected to be completed and operational in 2025, and the southern extension in 2026. The first phase of the line will be 23 km (14 mi) long and will use eight car type A trains with a maximum operating speed of 100 km/h (62 mph).[6]
