Madhesh Province Cricket Team, (formerly known as Province No. 2 Cricket Team) and also known as Team Madhesh is a Nepali provincial cricket team, based in the Madhesh Province of Nepal. The team plays limited overs and Twenty20 cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup.[2][3] The team is currently being run under the Madhesh Province Cricket Association.[4][5]

The team won the inagrual edition of KP Oli Cup, a domestic T20 cricket tournament back in the December 2023 under the captaincy of Harishankar Shah. [6][7]

Prime Minister One Day Cup 2022[edit]

In2022 Prime Minister Cup, Madhesh Province was drafted in Group B along with Province No.1, Bagmati Province, Nepal Police Club and Lumbini Province.[11] In PM Cup 2022, Madhesh Province entered into the semifinal for the first time after match tied against Bagmati Province[12][13]

Prime Minister One Day Cup 2024[edit]

In2024 Prime Minister Cup, the tournament was played in a round-robin format with the ten team, the top two teams qualifying for the final and top four team qualify for the Men's Elite Trophy which will be played in a multi-day format.[20] Madhesh Province finished at fourth position on points table and qualified for the Men's Elite Trophy.[21]
