The Micrococcales are an order of bacteria in the phylum Actinomycetota.[1][2]

The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[2] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)[4]

Whole-genome based phylogeny[5] 16S rRNA based LTP_08_2023[6][7][8] 120 marker proteins based GTDB 08-RS214[9][10][11]
