Minuscule 316 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), Oε321 (Soden ),[1] Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament , on cotton paper. Palaeographically it has been assigned to the 14th century.[2] marginalia .
Description [ edit ]
The codex contains the text of the Gospel of Luke (18:18-24:53) and John 1:16-12:25 on 129 paper leaves (34 cm by 22 cm ). The text is written in one column per page, in 33 lines per page.[2]
The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια chapters ), whose numbers are given at the margin, and their τιτλοι titles ) at the top of the pages. The biblical text is surrounded by a catena .[3]
The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine text-type . Aland placed it in Category V .[4] Claremont Profile Method .[5]
History [ edit ]
The manuscript came from Constantinople .[3] Scholz (1794–1852).[6] Paulin Martin .[7] C. R. Gregory saw the manuscript in 1885.[3]
The manuscript is currently housed at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gr. 211) at Paris .[2]
