The codex contains the text of the four Gospels, on 241 parchment leaves (size 20 cm by 16 cm).[3] The text is written in one column per page, 22 lines per page.[3] The texts of John 17:9-18:1; 21:3-25 were supplied by a later hand.[1]
The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια (chapters), with their τιτλοι (titles of chapters) at the top of the pages. There is also another division according to the smaller Ammonian Sections (in Mark 235 Sections - 16:12), with references to the Eusebian Canons.[5]
It contains Argumentum (to Matthew), Prolegomena, tables of the κεφαλαια (tables of contents) with a harmony, lectionary markings at the margin (later hand).[5]
It contains scholia on the first seven leaves.[1]
