Mountainside High School (MHS) is the newest of one of six comprehensive high schools in Beaverton, Oregon.

History[edit]

In 2014, a $680 million bond measure was passed which would help fund 27 projects in the Beaverton School District. Close to $158 million of the $680 million bond was used to build Mountainside High School.[3][4]

The school opened only for Freshmen and Sophomores for the 2017-2018 school year and would have their first graduating class in 2020.[5][6]

Academics[edit]

In 2023, 95% of the school's seniors received a high school diploma. Of 433 students, 413 graduated and 20 dropped out.[7]

Athletics[edit]

Mountainside High School athletic teams compete in the OSAA 6A-2 Metro League, along with the other Beaverton schools.[1]
