Inhabited island in Maldives
Muli (Dhivehi : މުލި) is the capital of Meemu Atoll , which is an administrative division of the Maldives .
History [ edit ]
Muli was one of the ten Maldivian islands worst affected by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami .[2]
Geography [ edit ]
The island is 138.83 km (86 mi; 75 nmi) south of the country's capital, Malé .[3] [4] land reclamation scheme was completed, which increased the land area by 40 ha (99 acres),[5]
