Murder in the Blue Room is a 1944 American mystery film, directed by Leslie Goodwins.[2]
The film is the second film remake of the murder-mystery film Secret of the Blue Room (1933), following The Missing Guest (1938). The original American film was itself a remake of the German film Secret of the Blue Room (1932). This remake follows the same plot, but adds comical songs. In the film, a young couple investigate a murder which took place in their own house.

It is the second remake of the 1933 American Pre-Code murder-mystery film Secret of the Blue Room, the first being Universal's 1938 remake, The Missing Guest.
