Neritina pulligera, common name the dusky nerite, is a speciesoffreshwater snail,[4][5]agastropod mollusk in the family Neritidae.[6]

Neritina pulligera is the type species of the genus Neritina.[4]

The length of the shell 23 mm.[4]

It is a Near Threatened species in Africa.[1]

The type locality is "in Indiæ fluviis".[2]

Ecology

Neritina pulligera lives in fast-flowing freshwater streams and in rivers.[1] It is found on rocky substrates.[1]

Population density of Neritina pulligera is 2-7 snails per m2inCaroline Islands.[1]
