Nikaidō clan (二階堂氏, Nikaidō-shi) is a Japanese samurai kin group.[1]
History[edit]
The Nikaidō claim descent from Fujiwara no Yukimasa who was the first to take the Nikaidō name.[1]
The clan ruled over the Iwase DistrictofMutsu Province during the Sengoku period. Sukagawa Castle was their main residence.
