Map indicating locations of Pakistan and Norway

Pakistan

Norway

Norway–Pakistan relations are foreign relations between Norway and Pakistan. Norway provides development assistance to Pakistan, particularly in the areas of governance and education.[1] On a smaller scale, Norway has contributed toward documentation and preservation of Pakistan's cultural heritage.[2]

Pakistanis form one of the largest immigrant communities in Norway.[3][4] Most Pakistanis in Norway come from the Punjab, Pakistan,[citation needed] and live in Oslo and Drammen.[5]

Pakistan operates an Antarctic research station in the Norwegian-claimed Antarctic territory of Queen Maud Land.

Embassies

[edit]

Norway maintains an embassy in Islamabad and an honorary consulate in Lahore[6] and Pakistan has an embassy in Oslo.[7]

Transportation

[edit]

Pakistan International Airlines operates two flights from Oslo Airport GardermoentoIslamabad and Lahore.
