Péter Haraszti (born 9 February 1982) is a Hungarian businessman, founder, CEO, and largest single shareholder of TritonLife Group.

Academic and personal background

He graduated in 2005 from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with a degree in Technical Management.[1] During his university years he was vice-president of the BME management college. The organisation is a member of ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management), where he has also held a leading position.[2] SSC (Scientific Student Circle) winner in Environmental Management (2005).[3]

Professional experience

Péter Haraszti started his career at Toyota Motor Hungary, where he worked in technical and sales areas as a field manager from 2005 to 2008, his responsibilities included among others the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of Toyota quality standards at authorized dealers.[1]

Career

The founder of TritonLife, early in his career held several positions in traditional multinational companies and later continued his professional career as an entrepreneur.[4] He founded MedAlliance Holding in January 2018 and acquired Róbert Private Hospital as the first acquisition in the spring of 2018.[5] He has built up his healthcare services group under the TritonLife brand.[4]

He founded the TritonLife Group with the goal of consolidating the Hungarian private healthcare sector and establishing a nationwide healthcare provider.[6] According to several media sources, TritonLife is the second largest private healthcare provider in Hungary in terms of revenue, based on 2022 data.[7]

In 2023, the publication called ’TOP30 Most Influential Players in Private Healthcare’ listed him as one the most influential players in the domestic private healthcare sector.[8]
