3°25′12S 119°21′00E / 3.42000°S 119.35000°E / -3.42000; 119.35000 Polewali is the capital of the Polewali Mandar RegencyofWest Sulawesi, Indonesia.

It is a seaside town on the coast of Mandar gulf. Polewali is the largest town in the province of West Sulawesi with 54,843 inhabitants at the 2010 Census[1] and 65,800 at the 2020 Census;[2] the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 67,320.[3]

Climate[edit]

Polewali has a tropical rainforest climate (Af) with moderate rainfall from July to September and heavy rainfall in the remaining months.
