Pua Almeida (1922–1974) was a Hawaiian steel guitarist, considered a leading performer on that instrument.
Almeida (sometimes given as "Alameida") was born in 1922 in Honolulu .[1] John Kameaaloha Almeida .[1] [1] [1] [2] Surfrider Hotel .[1]
He recorded for American Decca Records in 1966[3] MGM Records .[4] Hawaii Calls radio program.[1] [5]
Pua suffered from poor heart health, and died in 1974.[5]
