Rahara is a locality in Khardaha MunicipalityofNorth 24 Parganas district in the Indian stateofWest Bengal. It is close to Kolkata and also a part of the area covered by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA).[1]

Rahara is located at 22°43′25N 88°22′53E / 22.72361°N 88.38139°E / 22.72361; 88.38139.[1] It has an average elevation of 12 m (39 ft).
