Miss Earth 2017, the 17th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Heroines fighting climate change", was held on November 4, 2017 at the Mall of Asia ArenainPasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Katherine Espín of Ecuador crowned her successor Karen Ibasco of the Philippines at the end of the event.[2] Ibasco's crowning marks the fourth time the Philippines won the Miss Earth title—the most in the pageant's history.
