    "Ride" is an song by American singer-songwriter ZZ Ward featuring guitarist Gary Clark Jr. for the Disney/Pixar film Cars 3 and its soundtrack. The song, which plays during the film's end credits,[1] was written by Ward, Evan Bogart and Dave Bassett, with the latter also producing, mixing, and recording it.[2] It was released as a single on April 14, 2017.[2]

    The song was first announced on May 18, 2017, along with the soundtrack and Randy Newman's original score.[3] Ward first performed the song on Dancing with the Stars on April 17, 2017.[2][4][5] She later included the song as the last track of The Storm, her second studio album, which was released on June 30, 2017.[6] The song is an up-tempo pop-dance song.

    A music video of the song, featuring footage of the film, was released on June 16, 2017, the same day on which the film, the soundtrack and score were released.[7]
